Stretching
Before exercising or working out, stretching is required. In this module, students will learn how to properly stretch to ensure minimal injury during any exercise.
By the end of the module, students will be able to define the different types of stretches and be able to perform appropriate stretching on their own before exercising.
Absorb
This video by Celebrity Trainer and Health Author Thomas DeLauer explains the difference between static and dynamic stretching. These two forms of stretching are crucial to know not only for this class, but for before and after workout stretching. Make sure to pause the video frequently to take notes on the difference between static and dynamic stretching.
Do
