Module 2: Running

After stretching, it is time to run. In this module, you will learn about the different types of running which can be incorporated into any workout.

By the end of the module, you will be able to define the 8 different types of running and be able to perform appropriate running exercises on your own.

Time to match! With this learning exercise, students should select a tile to reveal the type of running corresponding with it. Select the tile best matching the corresponding run. Repeat exercise until all 8 types of runs have been matched. Submit your score (see below) then continue the game until 8 run types are memorized.

IMPORTANT: After completing the game, screenshot your final result and email it to instructor, Jean Cantero. For help taking a screen shot, see screenshot instructions.

Now it is time to put your running knowledge to use. Stretch, and go on a run to incorporate one of the 8 types of runs. You now have the knowledge to use a variety of run types every time you workout.
